Information
This Burgundy vineyard is the fruit of a delicious blend of two old winemaking families. While Hubert Bouzereau’s family hails from Meursault, Marie-France Gruère’s family comes from Chassagne-Montrachet. Hubert, the seventh generation of winemakers in the family, created his own estate with his wife in 1970. The family story has continued with their two daughters joining them on the estate, first Marie-Laure in 1995 and then Marie-Anne in 1999. Officially established in 2001, the sisters joined forces with their father to establish Domaine Hubert Bouzereau Gruère et Filles. Hubert has successfully imparted his expertise, combined with the heritage of a whole family of winemakers, to his children. In the winery and in the vineyard, each step is undertaken naturally, with as little intervention as possible. The family produces authentic, concentrated cuvées that reflect the purity and freshness of an exceptional terroir, thanks to the unique expertise perpetuated by passionate winemakers.
