Information
Gilles Bouton took over the reins of the family business in 1977 and diligently pursued the work accomplished by Aimé Langoureau, his grandfather. With four hectares of vines at the time, the domain now covers 16 hectares of vines, which include the region’s emblematic grape varieties. Julien, his son, has been assisting Gilles on the domain since 2009. Together, they cultivate their vines in the communes of Saint-Aubin, Chassagne and Puligny in a responsible and balanced way, applying sustainable practices. The vineyard holds the French Haute Valeur Environnementale (High Environmental Value) certification since 2021. To expand their offer and reflect the full diversity of the region’s terroir, they decided to establish their own wine merchant business in 2015. In the cellar, traditional, low-intervention winemaking methods result in authentic, fragrant and flavoursome cuvées that successfully reflect the many qualities of this exceptional terroir.
