Information
Situated between the Grenouilles and the Clos climats, these Chardonnay vines have their roots on a hillside of Grand Crus vines. The vines are at least 60 years old and enjoy soil which is primarily composed of limestone. Once harvested, the grapes are carefully vinified in temperature-regulated stainless-steel tanks. This Grand Cru was specifically matured in large oak casks, without any new wood, for at least a year. It was placed for another six months in tanks before being bottled.
The elegant straw-coloured wine with shimmers of gold has a generous and refined nose with aromas of exotic and yellow fruit, highlighted with a beautiful minerality and floral notes. The structured palate flaunts a subtle acidity for an exquisite and persistent finish. With its full body and deep flavours, this cuvée is an emblematic Chablis wine perfect for cellaring.
