Information
Join us in the Luberon for a tour of Château des Tourettes, the birthplace of this Vin de France baptised Tinus. This estate is operated by Jean-Marie Guffens, the legendary winemaker nicknamed ‘the white wine goldsmith’ by many. This cuvée is exclusively produced from Roussanne grapes grown on the Aigle plateau outside Apt, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in south-eastern France, at an altitude of 400 metres. Here, the grapes receive plenty of sunshine, along with significant temperature fluctuations during the day, resulting in excellent acidity and perfect slow ripening. The hand-picked grapes are rigorously sorted and carefully vinified, with only the first press juice being selected and processed in tulip-shaped concrete vats.
This Vin de France displays a yellow colour with hints of gold, revealing extremely generous aromas of stone fruit, honey, fresh almond and candied citrus. The rich, powerful texture and lingering finish make this a true gourmet wine.
