Information
Interestingly, the 10 hectares of vines on this Bordeaux estate in the Barsac appellation are managed by Jean-Marie Guffens, an iconic winemaker from the Mâconnais region of Burgundy. This winemaker is such a great admirer of the region’s sweet wines that he decided to settle there. This particular cuvée is produced from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc vinified dry and blended in equal proportions. The vines are cultivated using environmentally friendly methods that encourage them to draw the nutrients they require to thrive naturally from the clay soils.
Designed for laying down for up to eight years, this wine is appreciated for the delicate liveliness of its aromas. It reveals white floral and white fruit notes enlivened by citrus. The texture is both sapid and slightly suave.
