Information
The story of Domaine Goisot goes back to the 14th century. It has vines in the Auxerre area in Saint-Bris and Irancy. Jean-Hugues and Gilhem Goisot chose biodynamic viticulture as the best way to respect the upper Jurassic marl, limestone terroir very similar to that of Chablis. Their motto is that a good wine cannot be made without good grapes. Vinifications are traditional, with minimal intervention to best express their much cared-for terroir.
Domaine Goisot practises biodynamic viticulture with great enthusiasm in the heart of the Côtes d’Auxerre to reveal the full depth of flavour of this elegant white Burgundy. Nurtured by the rays of the Burgundian sun, the Chardonnay reveals its most delicate aromas through floral notes and a subtle minerality. From the harvests to the winemaking process, each stage is orchestrated with precision to create a wine that transcends its terroir.
The golden colour heralds an aromatic symphony. The aromas of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit captivate the senses. On the palate, this elegant cuvée expresses a perfect harmony of freshness, fruity notes and delicate minerality, leaving a lasting impression.
You'll love the liveliness of this wine and a subtle combination with a sweet vegetable tart. Follow this up with a meat stew cooked in Chardonnay for an authentic French combination. A vanilla crème brûlée will add a sweet touch to this refined gastronomic experience.
