Information
The 100% Pinot Noir cuvée from the famous Au Bon Climat estate is produced from five different parcels: Bien Nacido at the heart of the Santa Maria Valley, Le Bon Climat, Rancho La Cuna, Kick On and Los Alamos. Each plot is carefully cultivated to preserve the unique characteristics of its terroir and grape variety. The grapes are hand-picked at peak ripeness and vinified in the traditional way. The cuvée is then matured in Burgundy casks, including 10% new oak, before being bottled.
This superb Pinot Noir, graced with an elegant ruby-red colour, displays a generous bouquet where floral scents of violet mingle with hints of blackcurrant and sweet spices. Its velvety, flavoursome texture harbours ripe, elegant tannins leading to a persistent, fruity finish. This cuvée promises exceptional ageing potential.
