Information
Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru La Truffière encapsulates the excellence of the Burgundian terroir. The vineyard lies on the limestone slopes of Puligny-Montrachet, on a clay-limestone soil that confers a distinctive minerality on the wine. The grapes are hand-picked to ensure a rigorous selection process. The meticulous vinification process involves slow fermentation to preserve the complexity of the aromas. The juice is then aged in oak casks, with a moderate proportion of new casks, for around 12 to 18 months.
This La Truffière Premier Cru displays delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus fruit and white-fleshed fruit, along with mineral and woody notes. The mouthfeel reveals a balanced structure, beautiful acidity and a long persistent finish. This distinctive elixir combines elegance and complexity, and is a perfect choice for seafood, fine fish, poultry dishes and mild cheeses.
