    Information
    About the producer

The family estate, nestled in Meursault, has been writing a new page in its history for several generations now. Since 2016, Valentin Jobard, who took over his uncle’s 6 hectares of vines, has constantly sought the sincerest expression of the terroir. A worthy interpreter of the terroir, the winemaker believes that to produce great wines, the first step is to cultivate the vines in a sustainable way. He cultivates each plot meticulously, applying the principles of balanced and sustainable viticulture. In the winery, the traditional, low-intervention approach to winemaking allows him to craft chiselled, slender vintages that perfectly reflect the diversity of the Burgundian terroir. While Burgundy has a wealth of vineyards and winemakers, each more emblematic than the last, it has made room for Domaine Jobard-Morey, which has succeeded in imposing its name and its style.

    About the wine

This cuvée Les Tillets is produced from a specific plot of the family estate located in the heart of Meursault. The vineyard stretches across clay-limestone soils. The parcel is named after the linden trees (tilleul in French) that once grew around the vines in the Middle Ages. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, to ensure that they are of the highest quality. After fermenting in vats, the juice is aged in oak casks for a specific period, imparting complexity and structure while retaining freshness.
The delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus fruit and white-fleshed fruit complement the subtly integrated mineral and woody notes to create a seductive nectar. On the palate, the wine is round and generous, with a silky texture and balanced acidity, culminating in a long, flavourful finish. This wine of outstanding ageing potential will develop harmoniously over several years. Perfect with refined dishes such as fish, seafood or poultry in sauce.
