Information
The Gérard Schueller estate produces Pinot Noir N+2, a red wine from Alsace. This family-run vineyard spread over six hectares, cultivated using natural and chemical-free methods. The region’s rich, well-drained limestone soils provide an ideal terroir for the Pinot Noir grape variety. Traditional winemaking methods apply here, with spontaneous fermentation triggered by native yeasts present in the grapes. This approach preserves the authenticity and character of the Alsatian terroir. The maturation period, performed in oak casks, adds complexity and depth to the wine.
This nectar is packed with intense aromas of red fruit like cherry, strawberry and raspberry, complemented by floral and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is structured and delicate, with a beautifully balanced acidity, culminating in a long, elegant finish. This elixir pairs perfectly with dishes such as roasted duck, lamb, wild mushrooms and some mature cheeses.
