Information
The cuvée is produced from Nebbiolo grapes grown in three different vineyards in the communes of Castiglione Falletto, Gallinotto and La Morra. The mountainous terroirs characterised by soil formed of ancient marine sediments rich in minerals and trace elements, give the vines a unique character. After being harvested entirely by hand, the Nebbiolo grapes macerate with their skins for around 25 days. The fruit is then fermented in stainless steel vats for eight months. The wine is then aged in oak casks for two years. All the casks are then combined in stainless steel vats, where they rest for a further 12 months.
The intense red colour is enhanced by an expressive bouquet exuding with aromas of ripe red fruit combined with delicious spicy notes and hints of wood. The rich, complex and silky palate reveals perfectly integrated tannins, culminating in a persistent, fruity finish.
