Information
Both Loïc Lamy and Éric Pignal trained under some of Burgundy’s most illustrious names, including Roulot, Roumier, Château de Pommard, Dujac, and Domaine de Montille. Not long ago, they created their own micro-négoce, Saisons. A promising venture for these two men, who vinify, age and market their wines as they see fit. Grapes from Saint-Véran, Savigny-lès-Beaune, and Savoie are brought to the winery, set high above Beaune in the village of Meloisey. Situated on the heights of Beaune, in Meloisey.
Selection is meticulous and the grapes come only from growers working to organic or biodynamic principles. Here, the winemaking is simple and low-intervention. As with the whites, the reds are pressed as whole bunches, then undergo fermentation with native yeasts, followed by ageing in oak casks.
The wines born of this micro-négoce are treasures not to be missed. Delicate, elegant and generous, they are wines to discover and savour without delay.
