Enjoy Les Puits, a maceration rosé from the talented Emilien Feneuil. Made exclusively from Pinot Noir, it comes from the Les Puits parcel in the commune of Sermiers, home to the estate. Le Puits is one of the many parcels located within this Premier Cru village. The vines are planted on the edge of the renowned Montagne de Reims, on gently sloping hillsides. Here, the soils are composed of clay, limestone and chalk, while the north-easterly aspect brings freshness and balance. Emilien Feneuil farms his vineyards with great respect for the environment, avoiding all chemical inputs. Neither herbicides nor insecticides are used, as preserving the natural ecosystem lies at the heart of his philosophy.
In the winery, following manual harvests, the whole bunches undergo a 12-hour maceration. Fermentation then begins naturally with native yeasts before the wine is matured for several years in seasoned oak casks.
