Information
The terroir of Meursault is defined by well-drained soils, predominantly limestone and clay, ideally suited to Chardonnay, which expresses remarkable aromatic richness. Vinification follows a traditional approach. The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed to extract the finest juice. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, a proportion of which are new, adding subtle oak influence and complexity without overshadowing the purity of the fruit. The wine is then aged in oak for around 12 months, allowing it to develop greater finesse and a silky texture.
The luminous golden hue is bright and radiant. The complex nose reveals aromas of white orchard fruit, layered with delicate floral notes and hints of hazelnut and fresh butter. Broad and creamy on the palate, the wine shows real fullness, balanced by finely judged acidity. Fruit flavours integrate seamlessly with a delicate touch of oak, leading to a long finish marked by elegant minerality.
