François Feuillet is a driven businessman who decided to invest in a vineyard in 1991. He is the proud owner of a charming Burgundy domain, stretching along some of the region’s finest appellations. His vines are lovingly tended by the Durand family of winegrowers, represented by David Durand, a passionate young winegrower. Together, the winegrower and the CEO of Trigano are happy to cultivate more than ten hectares of vines. Well aware of the current environmental concerns and with a view to protecting biodiversity, they decided to use strict organic farming practices in the vineyards. In the winery, just like in the vineyards, everything revolves around the utmost respect for the soil, to allow the terroir to express all its aromas freely. Vinification involves minimal intervention and sulphur is used in minute quantities. It’s against this peaceful backdrop that the Burgundian vineyard produces exceptional, authentic and flavoursome vintages, perfectly reflecting the region’s grape varieties. 

Located at the northern part of the Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin is one of Burgundy’s most iconic appellations. The Pinot Noir vines are planted on east-facing slopes between 250 and 300 metres above sea level. The soils consist predominantly of clay-limestone marl with a stony surface layer, providing excellent natural drainage. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates to preserve the integrity of the berries Once at the winery, the bunches are partially destalked before undergoing a cold pre-fermentation maceration to gently extract their primary aromas. Alcoholic fermentation is triggered by native yeasts, while gentle manual punch-downs ensure delicate extraction The wine is then aged for around 12 months in French oak casks, with 40% new wood.
The intense ruby-red hue is elevated by garnet glints. The complex, refined bouquet reveals aromas of black fruit and morello cherry, layered with smoky notes, sweet spice and undergrowth. The palate is broad and structured, supported by impressive tannic depth.
