The Languedoc is one of southern France’s historic wine regions, renowned for its warm, dry Mediterranean climate and diverse soils. The region is home to the Corbières appellation enjoys ideal growing conditions, where abundant sunshine and low rainfall are tempered by maritime influences that help the vines thrive. The terroir is defined by clay-limestone soils, with pockets of schist, producing structured wines with a distinctive mineral character. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum ripeness to capture the full expression of the fruit. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, with a short maceration to extract colour and aromas while preserving finesse. The wine is then aged in vat to retain its purity and vibrant fruit character.
In the glass, the wine displays an intense ruby hue. The open, expressive bouquet reveals aromas of ripe black fruit, enhanced by subtle hints of sweet spice and Provençal herbs. The palate is supple and well balanced, with fine tannins and vibrant freshness.
