Information
Situated in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of Burgundy, the estate was founded in 1900. Philippe Gavignet has run the family business since 1992, when his father Michel, who took over from his father Gabriel, retired. Since January 2018, Philippe’s children, Élodie and Benoit, the fifth generation of winemakers, have joined the family business. Today, the estate prides itself on its 14 hectares of vines spread over 16 different appellations. This wide variety of terroirs produces rich, fragrant cuvées with very distinct aromatic palettes and characteristics. The estate, which mainly produces red wine but also a small proportion of rosé and white wine, follows a sustainable approach to viticulture. The winemakers aim for balanced, sustainable viticulture to guarantee high-quality raw materials, essential for producing exceptional wines.
