Information
Vosne-Romanée is one of the iconic villages of the Côte de Nuits. Here, Pinot Noir thrives on clay-limestone soils under a biodynamic regime that includes eco-grazing, gobelet pruning, high trellising and a complete cessation of hedging, all of which encourage balanced growth and expressive fruit. After manual harvests, fermentation proceeds spontaneously with native yeasts. The winemaking process concludes with 12 months of careful ageing in cask, with 20% new oak.
The wine shows an intense, luminous ruby hue. The nose reveals complex aromas of ripe red fruit, violet, fine spice and subtle, well-judged oak. The palate opens generously, with a velvety attack, fine tannins and vibrant freshness. A silky texture carries through to a long, persistent finish marked by red fruit and spice, underlined by a discreet mineral thread.
