The Riesling from Domaine Kientzler boasts a liveliness and minerality typical of the Alsace terroir. With unoaked citrus aromas, it is ideally served as an aperitif.  More info

This Riesling comes from 30-year-old vines planted on the most beautiful slopes of Ribeauville, a marl-limestone soil. After manual harvesting and careful sorting in the vineyard, the bunches are pressed in their entirety using pneumatic presses over a long cycle. The juice is then cold settled for a whole day. Fermentation is carried out in huge wooden tuns or stainless-steel vats, under a controlled temperature of 20 degrees. Vinification is completed by maturing on fine lees for six to nine months, before being filtered and bottled.
The Alsatian terroir, renowned for its freshness, gives this wine a vivacity and a beautiful minerality. It reveals an aromatic structure of citrus fruits. The palate is dense, frank and sharp, with a pleasant and long finish. For those who enjoy fruity wines, it is recommended to drink this wine young. For those looking for complexity, finesse and minerality, wait ten years or so. Whenever you drink it, it will always be excellent, ideal as an aperitif.

Riesling Kientzler serve at a temperature of 9°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Huitres, Cocktail de crevettes, Beignet de calamars.
