Domain: La Négly The domain underwent a complete transformation in the 1990s. That was when the Paux-Rosset family bought Château La Négly and decided to change grape varieties to improve quality, with the introduction of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. Sustainable cultivation methods are painstakingly employed: debudding, leaf thinning, manual harvesting, double sorting on tables and limited yields. Château de la Négly offers a series of very flavoursome wines produced under the Languedoc-la-Clape AOC. Jean Paux-Rosset has also produced three excellent cuvées: Porte du Ciel, Clos des Truffiers and Ancély. The first two are produced from Syrah, and the last features Mourvèdre. These are highly distinguished wines.
