More info

Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, this Côtes du Jura Chardonnay Saint-Savin stands out from the estate’s other cuvées. The grapes are harvested from 40+ year-old vines grown on Bathonian limestone scree. Organic viticulture was introduced in 2014, and the vinification process includes hand-picking and direct pressing. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation stages are completed in vats and casks, followed by maturation in topped-up casks. This wine is unfiltered and contains no added sulphites.
Delicious aromas of white fruit and peach emerge on the nose. On the palate, this is a beautifully complex Chardonnay with fruity and mineral notes, typical of the terroir, and plenty of acidity to give structure.
Perfect served with white meats, meats in cream sauce, fish or as an aperitif.
