Lot presentation
Gigondas Romane-Machotte Pierre Amadieu 2001
About the Producer Pierre Amadieu
Domain Pierre Amadieu was created in 1929 by the current owner’s grandfather, beginning with 7 hectares. The vineyard spans 137 hectares in the Dentelles de Montmirail hills (at an altitude of around 400m, on north and north-west facing slopes), which makes it the largest vineyard in the Gigondas appellation. Vinifications are long and élevage meticulous and long. The domain’s wines are characterised by their finesse and freshness.
