The wine
This Les Damodes Premier Cru is ruby in colour, with the nose offering blackcurrant and licorice aromas that give way in the mouth to attractive tannins and a long, generous, full-bodied finish. This wine will easily keep for about ten years.
About the Producer Gilles Remoriquet
Gilles Remoriquet is located on this 10 hectare family domaine, which has seen four generations of wine growers unfold. An enologist, Gilles is a graduate of the University of Dijon. He respects the Burgundian model of wine traditions: ploughing, limited yields, manual harvesting and barrel élevage. He markets a fine selection of premier crus at Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée, all of which reflect his talent.
