More info

The Planella cuvée is a meticulous blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, sourced from the prestigious terroir of Catalonia. The clay-limestone soils of Montsant are cultivated with the utmost respect for the vines and the environment. The winemaking process begins with a hand harvest, followed by careful sorting to select only the best grapes. The grapes are then destemmed and fermented in stainless steel vats with native yeasts to enhance the expression of the terroir. Then, the wine is aged for around 12 months in French oak barrels, imparting subtle woody notes and a harmonious structure. This red wine unveils a dazzling ruby-red hue. The nose is expressive, offering aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry, liquorice, and soft spices. On the palate, the wine is elegant and well balanced, with fine tannins and beautiful acidity, leading to a long and savoury finish.
