More info

It is an iconic expression of the Oregon terroir, and more particularly the Willamette Valley, an appellation born of the winemakers’ commitment to producing quality wines capturing the essence of their terroir. Paul Gerrie’s vines thrive on mineral-rich volcanic soils, imparting aromatic complexity and richness to the grapes. The vines benefit from a temperate climate, warm days and cool nights, allowing for slow, even ripening. Following manual harvests, fermentation is triggered in open-top vats. The wine then spends 11 months in French oak casks, adding a subtle woody influence while respecting the expression of the fruit.
A dazzling ruby hue emerges in the glass. On the nose, aromas of black cherry and raspberry intertwine with spice notes and floral nuances. The palate displays beautiful acidity, a velvety texture and delicate tannins, culminating in a persistent finish marked by notes of spice-laced red fruits.
