About the Producer Jean Grothé

The Jean Grothé domain, nestling in the heart of the Loire Valley, produces exceptional vintages of the finest expressions of the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The domain’s vines stretch across the region’s most iconic appellations. Well aware of the current environmental concerns and with a view to protecting biodiversity, the vineyard cultivates its vines with passion and the greatest respect for the land. Each individual vine receives specific care depending on its needs, to allow the personality of each one to shine through. The aim is to preserve the essential balance between nature and people to produce authentic vintages. In the winery, the philosophy is the same. Vinification is low-interventionist allowing the terroir to express its range of aromas naturally. It’s against this peaceful backdrop that the vineyard produces fruity, rich and flavoursome vintages, perfectly reflecting the region’s grape varieties.
