A Chardonnay that marvellously combines minerality and fruit, reflecting the typicity of an exceptional terroir.

More info

The Chardonnay vines come from the blue-clay terroir of Lias, growing on a steep slope of Arbois Pupillin, at an altitude of around 450 metres. In the vineyards, as in the cellar, each step is carried out by hand to optimise the natural expression of the terroir and grape variety. Each parcel is cared for meticulously, respecting the environment and following the principles of biodynamic farming. Fertilisers and chemical weed killers are not used. Once the grapes have been harvested by hand, they are partially destemmed before undergoing spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts in large 600-litre barrels. Finally, the wine ages on fine lees for around a year.
The golden colour reveals a great minerality enhanced by a smooth texture, leading to a long and flavourful finish. This cuvée can be stored for around two to five years.
