The wine

Les Lavières produced by Domaine du Puy de l’Ours is a single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the Savigny-lès-Beaune terroir. The limestone and clay soils of this 1er Cru confer remarkable finesse and depth on this cuvée. This wine is initially vinified in stainless steel vats before being aged in Burgundy oak casks. The carefully monitored ageing process contributes to the harmonious structure of this wine, which offers good ageing potential and improves with age.
This elixir is characterised by intense, fresh aromas of red fruit?–?strawberry, raspberry and cherry?–?and black fruit, combined with notes of undergrowth, vanilla and spices. This wine captivates the palate with its freshness, fine tannins, balance with acidity and long finish. This versatile nectar is the perfect pairing for charcuterie platters, red meats in sauce, duck in blood or lamb with prunes.
