Bourgogne Aligoté Maison Skyaasen 2023

Introduced into Burgundy as early as the 17th century, Aligoté, planted from Chablis to the Maconnais, is firmly rooted in the region’s winegrowing landscape. Resulting from a crossing of Gouais Blanc and Pinot Noir, the dense, compact grapes of Aligoté adapt perfectly to the different types of soil and brilliantly capture the finer facets of the terroir. In the winery, the estate favours minimal intervention, with minimum doses of sulphur. The cuvée is carefully matured for several months in oak casks before being bottled.
The golden colour with hints of green reveals a delicate bouquet of fruit aromas mingling with notes of white flowers and a touch of minerality. The taut and lively palate displays a splendid balance of outstanding freshness and nutty aromas, leading to a refreshing and flavoursome finish.
