This cuvée unveils the essence of the Pinot Noir variety in a burst of fruity and floral flavours.
More infoWith his cuvée “Le Baiser”, winemaker Raphaëlle Guyot unveils a wonderful take on a Pinot Noir that is cultivated with passion from a clay-limestone terroir in Comblanchien. The grapes are lovingly hand-harvested and worked in an environmentally-friendly manner before undergoing a 20-day maceration period in whole bunches. This produces an intense expression of the grape variety’s character.
After this crucial step is complete, the wine is aged for 12 months in barrels which gives it woody notes and a wonderful structure.
We are presented with a wine that has aromas of red fruits, blueberries, blackberries, violets, black cherries and strawberries, all of which blend harmoniously with its floral notes. On the palate, the finesse and silkiness of the wine shine through. The fine tannins are balanced, offering a delightful tasting experience.
To get the most out of this cuvée it is recommended to open the bottle at least an hour before serving to allow the aromas to be released and to allow the wine to fully express itself.
