Clos Mireille rosé is a Provençal landmark produced by a leading estate ranking among the region’s 18 crus classés.
More infoAcquired by the Ott family in 1936, this 53-hectare estate lies directly on the Mediterranean coast. This Provence Cru Classé belongs to Domaines Ott, part of the prestigious Champagne Louis Roederer group. The estate has held organic certification since the 2022 vintage, with vines averaging 17 years of age. The blend is primarily composed of Grenache, complemented by Cinsault and Syrah. The vines draw their full potential from an exceptional terroir with schist and quartz soils shaped by sea spray, dry hillside air, and abundant sunshine.
In the glass, a luminous pale hue with golden glints reveals a vibrant bouquet of citrus (particularly lemon) alongside fresh mango and melon. On the palate, a taut mineral backbone supports a fresh, complex profile, culminating in a saline finish that evokes the nearby sea. This splendid rosé which pairs with food wonderfully is best enjoyed in its youth but capable of graceful ageing for up to five years.

About the Producer Domaines Ott
Domaines Ott’s story started nearly 130 years ago (in 1896) when a young Alsatian agronomist Marcel Ott toured France to discover the depth of the viticultural world. His journey ended in Provence where he decided to cultivate some land which had been ravaged by phylloxera several years earlier. He worked hard to restore it, planting magnificent varieties, before handing it over to his descendants. Today, the vineyards, which became part of the Louis Roederer group in 2004, are managed by Jean-François Ott (the 4th generation). The Domaines Ott are made up of two Provence crus classés, Château de Selle and Clos Mireille, and a winery in Bandol, Château Romassan. The domains’ passion remains intact since the Otts came to the region over a century ago. They produce exquisite Provence whites, rosés and reds.
