The wine
This barrel-aged wine bears a yellow robe with bewitching aromas of stewed fruit (notably pear and apple). In the mouth it reveals roundness and generosity, enhanced by pear and buttery notes. A persistent finish lends this wine to food pairings with fish and seafood.
About the Producer Domaine de la Bongran
It is to Jean Thévenet and his son Gautier to whom we owe the sweet wines of Burgundy. Domaine de la Bongran is located in the Mâconnais, the most southern part of the Burgundy wine region. The wines are amazing, both when tasting and especially when drinking them, the results are quite simply stunning. The perfectly balanced wines of Domaine Bongran are to be discovered at all costs.
