Lot presentation

Château Moulinet 1998

The wine

Château Moulinet is a classic Pomerol, focused on over 90% Merlot. It exhales aromas of red fruits (wild strawberries) and dark fruits (blackcurrants and blackberries). The palate is rounded yet elegant. Its fruitiness and lusciousness are valued. This wine can be enjoyed after 5 to 15 years of aging.

About the Producer Château Moulinet

Château Moulinet is a Pomeral cru on 22 hectares which is owned by the Moueix (Petrus, La Fleur Pétrus) family. Advised by Stéphane Derenencourt, it has continued to improve vintage after vintage. Prices have remained reasonable, which makes this a wine to be recommended for connoisseurs.
