Château Haut Ferrand 1985
The wine
This property's wines have a strong colour, and are very concentrated and perfectly balanced on the palate. They develop notes of spices, Morello cherries and very ripe berries. The tannins are firm, silky and well-integrated. These wines evolve extremely well and reach maturity after ageing for a few years.

The Gasparoux family produces two Pomerol wines: Ferrand and Haut-Ferrand (with plots around the church of Pomerol).
