Cinétique is a “pét-nat” or natural sparkling rosé wine. It has the Vin de France classification, but is a pure product of the Beaujolais region, a region with a rich winegrowing past, known historically for its red wines but also for its ability to produce light, lively wines. The name Cinétique illustrates the energy and movement of this wine, reflecting the granite terroir and the dynamic approach of the estate. Made from old Gamay vines planted on poor, well-drained granite soils, this wine draws its characteristic tension and freshness from the terroir. The wine is made using the ‘pét-nat’ method. In other words, the grapes are harvested by hand and fermented naturally, with fermentation continuing in the bottle without the addition of sulphur or yeast, according to natural winemaking principles. The wine has a pale pink colour with a slightly cloudy appearance, due to it being unfiltered. The nose is seductive, marked by aromas of fresh red berries, like redcurrants and crushed strawberries, mixed with a hint of citrus. On the palate, the wine is light, invigorating and fresh, enhanced by fine bubbles and a fruity finish.
