A beautiful mélange of the delicacy of Burgundy and robustness of Corsica, whose name translates to “breath.”
More infoTucked in the heart of Ponte-Leccia, this cuvée was produced on the foothills of a sandstone terroir bathed in south/southeastern sunlight. The grapes are hand-harvested and placed in small crates. They are then entirely destemmed and fermented in barrels with native yeast. The maceration process takes 45 days at controlled temperatures, where the cap is manually punched down daily before being pressed with a pneumatic press. The wine is then matured over 14 to 18 months, with fining and with a light filtration using plates.
This red Corsican wine stands out with its intricate bouquet of red berries enhanced by hints of spice. The nose unveils a beautiful mélange of black cherry, white pepper and spice. The palate flaunts delectable notes of preserved cherries mixed with spices. The well-balanced acidity is rounded out with delicate tannins that are pleasantly persistent. This refined, full-bodied, and generous wine is enhanced with supple tannins, giving it structure and balance.
Ce 100% sciacarellu dévoile un végétal noble (eucalyptus, garrigues) et des notes de fruits rouges (fraise écrasée). Dégusté au domaine en octobre 2025.

About the Producer Clos Venturi
In 2005, the best terroirs belonging to Domaine Vico, a 77-hectare estate managed by Jean-Marc and Manu Venturi, were separated from the domain to create Clos Venturi (25 hectares today). The vines once belonged to the Vico family (purchased in 1901) and were then bought by the Acquaviva Venturi family at the end of the 1980s. The estate’s goal is to highlight the diversity and characteristics of local varieties.
Today, the vines - Vermentino for the whites and Syrah, Niellucio and Sciaccarellu for the reds and rosés - are tended to with the greatest respect to produce unique, high-quality wines. Animals working in the vineyards, organic and biodynamic certificates, manual harvests, plot-by-plot selection and fermentation started by natural yeasts are just some of the methods at the estate. Vinification and maturation method vary depending on what the winemaker chooses also helps set this estate, which is both the estate at the highest altitude in Corsica and the only one located in the centre of the Ile de Beauté IPG, apart.
