Intensity
A vintage Champagne of remarkable purity, combining finesse, structure and precision, elevated by seven years of careful ageing on lees.
More infoVintage Champagne is produced only in outstanding years, when the quality of the harvest allows the typicity of the vintage to be fully expressed. It is a truly exceptional wine, the faithful reflection of a single year, whereas most Champagnes are blends of several vintages. For its vintage cuvée, Laurent-Perrier selects the finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir crus from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. In the winery, the grapes are vinified according to the traditional expertise of Champagne. The cuvée has the particularity of being aged on the lees for 7 years.
It displays a bright, light-yellow hue, enhanced by a fine and persistent effervescence. The nose is refined and complex, revealing aromas of stone fruit such as peach and apricot, candied citrus, toasted hazelnut and white flowers. On the palate, the attack is generous, chiselled and pure. The finish, long and saline, lingers with a lasting impression of candied citrus.

About the Producer Laurent Perrier
Founded in 1812, Laurent Perrier has become one of the biggest estates of Champagne (5th group of Champagne). Like other widows in Champagne Mathilde Laurent-Perrier developed innovative ideas for the time. Indeed, in the late 19th century, while the soft champagne were very popular, Laurent-Perrier decided to create a "great wine without sugar", the forerunner of modern champagne. Today, Michel Fauconnet, the cellar master, watches over the "Laurent Perrier taste" characterized by increasingly large proportions of Chardonnay, for a much appreciated aperitif style. The house is also the owner of the brands Salon, Delamotte, De Castellane, Jeanmaire ... 150 hectares are in operation, representing 10% of the bottles sold. The label NM (Negotiant-Manipulant) appears on the labels when some or all of the grapes come from purchases.
