This wine is a blend of white wine varieties vinified together: Macabeu (about 50%), Grenache gris and blanc and Malvoisie du Roussillon (also called Tourbat).
About the Producer Le Vieux Chêne
This domain is located at the heart of the Rivesaltes appellation on limestone-clay soils. The domain's vines grow in a terroir exposed more than almost any other to the Tramontane wind, enabling the vines to remain in perfect health and facilitating late harvesting.
