More info

Irancy, in the Yonne, is a historic Burgundy appellation known for its red wines made primarily from Pinot Noir. The terroir consists of clay-limestone slopes and limestone-rich marls. These soils contribute both structure and finesse, offering excellent drainage and allowing the grapes to develop complex aromatics and marked minerality. After manual harvests, the fruit ferments with native yeasts during a maceration in stainless steel vats. The wine is then aged for 12 months in casks.
In the glass, it shows a delightful ruby hue. The bouquet reveals cherry and raspberry, lifted by touches of spice and undergrowth. On the palate, a silky attack opens onto fine-grained tannins and vibrant fruit intensity, leading into a fresh, persistent finish marked by red fruit nuances and mineral notes.
