Priorat DOCa Alvaro Palacios L'Ermita 2010
The wine
This Grenache and Carignan blend is produced from eighty-year-old and one-hundred-year-old vines with very low yields. The wine is matured in French oak for 16 months and released in small quantities (1400 bottles). It is incredibly silky, fluid and creamy but also full of energy. Keep in the cellar for a few years before drinking.
