A lovely introduction to the know-how of Domaine Henri Germain, in the traditional Meursault style.
More infoDomaine Henri Germain & Fils is a discrete estate that crafts this white Burgundy following traditional methods. This is a wonderful introduction to the savoir-faire of Meursault and, tasted in its youth, it will delight you with its pale, yellow colour in the glass. On the nose, we find the very identity of the Chardonnay grape, the region’s noble varietal. It brings a blend of white fruit, citrus, white flowers, and butter. Its palate is lively and round. It carries a fine minerality with a well-mastered acidic touch. Altogether, these features promise flavourful pairings with delicate dishes like fish, fresh cheese, or vegetable tart. It can even be served on its own as an aperitif.

About the Producer Henri Germain & fils
Jean-François Germain forges the long tradition that precedes him with fervour and passion. His father Henri was modest, but he made a name for himself in Meursault thanks to his perseverance and exemplary work. The family owns 8 hectares of vines, making the wines especially coveted. It is recommended to leave them to age for some years due to their style. Produced in the pure tradition of the region, these wines can be somewhat austere in their youth, but they open up after a few years, revealing all the secretes of the Côtes de Beaune's finest Chardonnay.
