The wine

Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles has a golden yellow aspect. Its bouquet is rich, fruity (lime, white peach) and spicy (white pepper). It is rich and generous in the mouth, yet with a certain vivacity and attractive persistence at the finish, characterised by citrus notes with a slight saline touch.

About the Producer Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin

Domaine Jean-Paul and Benoît Droin is owned by one of the oldest families in Chablis, who have been working the vines for nearly five centuries. In 1547, Jehan Droin was already cultivating an enclosed vineyard. Today, the domaine is managed by Jean-Paul Droin and his son Benoît; it covers 26 hectares, including 5 grand crus and 8 premier crus. It has risen to the top of Chablis, offering precise, generous wines with a fine mineral persistence.
