About the Producer Vinyer de La Ruca

Manuel Di Vecchi is a passionate winemaker, straight out from Italy where he gained his expertise. He decided to settle in the heart of the Roussillon, close to the iconic commune of Banyuls. Passionate about natural wines and well aware of current environmental issues, he decided to cultivate his vines with the greatest respect for the land and biodiversity. He therefore follows biodynamic practices. Each parcel of vines, stretching across the region’s finest appellations, is given its own specific care, tailored to its needs, to allow its individual personality to shine through. In addition, the two hectares of vines are harvested by hand. In the winery, the spirit is the same and vinification is low-interventionist, with sulphur added in minute quantities to allow the fruit to express all their aromas naturally. The winemaker strives to offer unique, fruity and fragrant vintages that perfectly reflect the regional grape varieties and noble terroir.
