The wine
The vineyard managed by Nicolas Joly is cultivated biodynamically. Three cuvées of white wines are produced: La Coulée de Serrant, Clos de la Bergerie and Les Vieux Clos, all of very good quality. The cuvée des Vieux Clos exudes aromas of ripe fruit, a powerful palate and a beautiful finish.
About the Producer Château de La Roulerie
Philippe Germain, brother of Thierry (of Domaine des Roches Neuves) owns a magnificent property in Saint-Aubin-de-Luignié, Château de la Roulerie. Its vines of Chenin are south-west facing, not far from the Quarts-de-Chaume terroir. Philippe Germain’s work both in the vineyard and cellar is precise and painstaking. One of the region’s safe bets!
