Côtes de Provence Rose et Or Minuty 2017
The wine
Rosé et Or from Domaine Minuty was produced in 2009 from vines grown on the Saint-Tropez peninsula. The vineyard is planted on three distinct terroirs of schist, clay and sand, each contributing a unique complexity to this wine. The main grape varieties used to elaborate this cuvée are Grenache (80%), Syrah (10%), Cinsault (5%) and Tibouren (5%). Grapes are hand-picked, with a rigorous selection of free-run juice. Vinification involves low-temperature alcoholic fermentation to preserve the delicate aromas, and without malolactic fermentation to maintain freshness on the palate.
As for ageing, it involves stainless steel vats to preserve the wines purity. On the nose, Rosé et Or reveals subtle aromas of citrus and garrigue, while the palate is characterised by a light texture and pronounced minerality, offering exceptional freshness with a touch of salinity characteristic of its terroir.
