The wine

Located in the Catalonia region of Spain, Priorat is renowned for producing some of the country’s most prestigious and sought-after wines. Priorat wines are often crafted from indigenous grape varieties, primarily Grenache (Garnacha) and Carignan (Cariñena), as well as international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The region’s characteristic schistous soil, known as llicorella, imparts a distinct minerality and aromatic complexity to the wines.
