The wine

The Madrigal Pouilly-Fuissé comes from a small plot of less than 30 ares. Its nose is dominated by aromas of ripe fruit, smoky notes, toast, hazelnut and menthol. The palate is rich, concentrated and also fresh. This wine can be aged for a few years before drinking (5-6 years), and goes very well with poultry and shellfish.

About the Producer Frantz Chagnoleau

Domaine Frantz Chagnoleau was created in 2009 in Pierreclos, in the Mâconnais. With his companion Caroline Gon, they studied and began their careers in wine. Their organic vineyard covers about 7 hectares. Soils are ploughed, yields are controlled and vinification has little intervention (fermentation with native yeast only). The wines of Frantz Chagnoleau are similar to their terroir, in that they are rich, precise and complex. A domaine that never ceases to amaze us.
