The wine
This cuvée is crafted solely with Pinot Noir cultivated on a micro-terroir. It is stupendously aromatic, offering up notes of stone fruit (peach, plum, apricots), hazelnut and brioche. White flowers add a touch of freshness to the overall effect.
Cédric Bouchard, son of a winemaker, runs the estate of the same name based in Aube, on the Côte des Bar. He runs the small domain of Roses de Jeanne (one hectare), located in the Ource Valley, as well as Inflorescence in Val Vilaine. His agricultural methods are reasoned and controlled, quite close to the principles of biodynamics. His champagnes are renowned and sought after, production being very limited.
