Lot presentation
Château Marquis d'Alesme 1994
The wine
Château Marqis d'Alesme's wine is much appreciated for its distinctive bouquet of cooked fruit.
Château Marquis-d'Alesme's vineyard was one of the three first to be created in the Margaux area in 1585 by the Marquis d'Alesme. The vineyard, which lies on Margaux's finest hilltops, produces a delicate wine with a very fine bouquet, which is capable of improving in the bottle for several decades.
