About the Producer La Rioja Alta
★ Partner ProducerRioja Alta, which was established in 1890 by five Basque winegrowers, is one of the largest wineries in the Rioja region. The winery expanded in the 1970s, creating a new cellar and buying prestigious new parcels. Vines are managed in an environmentally friendly manner to get the very best out of each terroir and the cellar belongs to that rare breed of vineyards with its own cooperage producing the barrels used for vinification.
